I've been an atheist since age 6. I really didn't believe in God even before that. But by age 6 I wasn't believing in Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Heaven nor Hell or the Boogie man. College educated. Well read. Somewhat well traveled but want to travel more. I'm an Army Veteran. Served during Desert Storm I and Bosnia's Joint Endeavor. Single. Have come close to getting married but then met their families. Was a Republican when being a Republican meant the least government was the best government and a balanced budget was king. But the "Party" changed with all the screaming Pro-Life Bible Pounding Money Hungry Power Hungry Religious Crazies took it over. I remember a time when the likes of Shara Palin would have been laughed out of a Republican Party meeting. From 1992 until 2004 I was an Independent. In 2004 I officially became a Democrat. To me, the so called "Republican Party" is nothing more then Communists dressed in Republican Clothing.

Others like me. Share some thoughts. Share some pictures. tweak the bible pounder's noses. And maybe...just maybe make the bible pounders think and question their so called religious dogma and beliefs. Remember, Pray in One Hand and Pray in the Other. Then we'll see which one fills up first.
No you weren't the only child atheist, lol. What's even better is my parents took me to church from the ages of 2-18. By the age of six I figured out it was a bunch of crap. However I just sat back and listened and I read the Bible from front to back and now I can use their words and beliefs against them and I find that I know more about religion that a lot of "religious" people.
